چکیده

This article deals with the problem of designing finite dimensional controllers for a class of nonlinear infinite dimensional systems for which inertial manifolds are known to exist. The synthesis of the controller is based on a finite-dimensional, inertial form approximation of the plant. The controller guarantees exponential convergence of the system state to zero. Modified Wavelet Method for Solving Two-dimensional Coupled System of Evolution Equations

As two-dimensional coupled system of nonlinear partial differential equations does not give enough smooth solutions, when approximated by linear, quadratic and cubic polynomials and gives poor convergence or no convergence. In such cases, approximation by zero degree polynomials like Haar wavelets (continuous functions with finite jumps) are most suitable and reliable. Therefore, modified numer...

Finite-Dimensional Feedback Control of a Scalar Reaction-Diffusion Equation via Inertial Manifold Theory

Using inertial manifold theory, a finite-dimensional feedback controller is constructed for a nonlinear parabolic partial differential equation so that the dynamics of the closed-loop system is close in a weighted C-metric for the vector fields to a finite dimensional dynamics prescribed in advance. As a consequence, some structurally stable dynamics, for instance, can be imposed on the control...

Control of nonlinear systems using a hybrid APSO-BFO algorithm: An optimum design of PID controller

This paper proposes a novel hybrid algorithm namely APSO-BFO which combines merits of Bacterial Foraging Optimization (BFO) algorithm and Adaptive Particle Swarm Optimization (APSO) algorithm to determine the optimal PID parameters for control of nonlinear systems. To balance between exploration and exploitation, the proposed hybrid algorithm accomplishes global search over the whole search spa...

Design of a Novel Framework to Control Nonlinear Affine Systems Based on Fast Terminal Sliding-Mode Controller

In this paper, a novel approach for finite-time stabilization of uncertain affine systems is proposed. In the proposed approach, a fast terminal sliding mode (FTSM) controller is designed, based on the input-output feedback linearization of the nonlinear system with considering its internal dynamics. One of the main advantages of the proposed approach is that only the outputs and external state...
